Do I have to pay to attend the parade?
No. While the Children's Medical Center Holiday Parade is a free event and open to the public, we encourage all those in attendance to make a donation to the hospital. Tickets for reserved bleacher seating are available for purchase beginning in October, and the proceeds from these sales benefit our young patients. Sidewalk seating is available along the Parade route.
Can I buy tickets online?
Yes. You will be able to purchase tickets online beginning October 1.
What time should we arrive to get a good seat?
The early risers arrive between 6:30 a.m. and 8 a.m., but we recommend that you arrive by 7 a.m. to get a good seat if you are not purchasing reserved bleacher seating.
What should I bring to the parade?
Bring what will keep you warm and comfortable. Suggestions include blankets, folding chairs and money for breakfast snacks and parade official merchandise.

What hotels are located downtown within walking distance of the parade route?
We always recommend our founding sponsor, The Adolphus. And the Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau has information about additional nearby places to stay.
